NFL Cities A Guide to Stadiums Tickets and the Cost of Football

Footballin60 Originals ·

All 32 teams with stadium addresses, seating capacity, ticket price rankings, parking advice, suite costs and the training facilities and financial questions that matter to players.

The cost of football starts before kickoff

An NFL Sunday is often a full-day purchase. The ticket is the most visible item, but parking, food, transport and the time needed to leave can materially change the price of the experience. A suburban stadium with a large tailgating culture creates a different trip from a downtown venue beside rail service and hotels.

The team name does not always tell the traveller where to go. The New York clubs play in New Jersey. The 49ers play in Santa Clara. The Cowboys play in Arlington and train in Frisco. Those distinctions matter for booking a room, arranging a ride and understanding the working life of a player.

This guide covers the NFL’s 32 teams and their regular home stadiums. It compares a published set of ticket estimates, explains parking and private suites, and identifies major stadium projects. International games and temporary relocations require checking the specific fixture rather than relying on a team’s usual home address.

What the ticket ranking does and does not tell you

The ranking uses Visit Your Team’s published average-ticket resale estimates, accessed October 27 2026. Its measure is the mean of resale medians across the stadium’s seating tiers, not an audited average of transactions, a season-ticket face value or a get-in price for one game. All amounts are US dollars; tied dollar values share a rank. [1]

These are indicative estimates. The source separates checked information from unchecked estimates, but this table does not reproduce individual ticket check dates. Fee treatment is not standardised sufficiently to promise a final all-in amount. A buyer should compare exact seats and checkout totals for the same game, not assume an index number is an offer.

The NFL’s small number of regular-season home dates makes the individual matchup especially important. Opponent, team performance, a holiday or prime-time slot can reshape demand. Playoffs, championship games, personal seat licences and premium hospitality are separate products. A low standing-room price is not equivalent to a reserved seat with a clear view.

Why the same building can have different prices

This index puts the 49ers, Jets and Rams toward the expensive end and the Panthers, Browns and Jaguars near the lower end. That should guide further searching rather than end the comparison. Some lower-demand dates can cost much less than a stadium-wide estimate.

The shared stadiums demonstrate why a building alone cannot explain price. The Giants and Jets both use MetLife, while the Rams and Chargers both use SoFi. Their opponents, demand and resale inventory can still produce different numbers. A visitor who wants to see an NFL game rather than one particular team can compare both calendars.

For families, the cheapest single listing is only a starting point. Four adjacent seats, parking and concessions can produce a different budget. Check the seat location, restricted-view disclosures and whether a premium description means actual food and drink are included.

Parking is a separate part of the event

Philadelphia’s published Eagles parking rate is US$50 for a regular vehicle. Oversized vehicles have a different charge. That price belongs to a specific stadium parking product; it is not a universal rate for every nearby lot. [3]

Gillette Stadium offers free general parking across Route 1. Its separate 2026 delayed-exit programme advertises a US$50 Visa gift card for eligible vehicles in designated lots that remain for 75 minutes after the game. The conditions matter: saving cash may require accepting a later departure. [4]

SoFi Stadium directs visitors to both official parking and Inglewood Park and Go remote parking and shuttles. A remote parking purchase is not the same as an on-site stadium space. Check the shuttle operation and pickup plan before comparing prices. [5]

Tailgating also changes the calculation. Not every lot allows it, opening times vary and an oversized vehicle can need a separate pass. For a visitor staying downtown, compare the complete rail or shuttle journey with car rental, petrol, parking and the return drive. The cheapest space is not always the easiest route out after a close game.

How much a football suite costs

Suite Experience Group puts many NFL single-game suites around US$14,000–25,000, within a wider US$9,000–40,000-plus range. Actual quotes vary sharply with the opponent, suite size and package. [6]

LuxuryVIPSuites gives regular-season planning ranges of US$15,000–75,000 at Allegiant Stadium, US$10,000–30,000 at Lambeau Field and US$20,000–60,000 at Lincoln Financial Field. These are resale ranges for the whole room, with catering outside the figure, not official team quotes. [7]

A US$20,000 suite shared by 20 guests begins at US$1,000 each. If food, drink and other charges add US$4,000, the total becomes US$1,200 each. That illustration does not establish availability. Request the ticket count, fixed seats, extra guest cost, food minimums, parking, tax and fees in writing. Super Bowl and other major-event packages need their own comparison.

The stadium directory

The NFL has 32 teams using 30 regular home stadiums because two pairs share buildings. Capacity figures are approximate football configurations, rounded for orientation; special events and construction can reduce inventory. Jacksonville’s figure is its reduced 2026 capacity. Addresses identify the game stadium, while practice bases are separate. Training camp can be held at another site, so the year-round base should not be used as a camp ticket address without checking the club. [2, 8–10]

Which cities have a stadium decision to make

Buffalo is now a completed replacement story. The Bills opened their new Highmark Stadium in June 2026, with 60,108 listed seats. Visitors should use its current entrance and parking guidance rather than treating the old stadium map as interchangeable. [8]

Tennessee’s new Nissan Stadium is being built beside the existing one for an anticipated 2027 opening. The Titans remain in the current stadium during construction. Cleveland broke ground in April 2026 on a new enclosed Huntington Bank Field in Brook Park, targeted for the 2029 season; the Browns’ present lakefront venue remains a different site. [11–12]

Jacksonville is renovating rather than moving permanently. EverBank Stadium has a reduced 2026 capacity of 42,507, and the Jaguars plan to use Orlando’s Camping World Stadium for the 2027 season before returning to the renovated home. That directly affects both ticket supply and the city a travelling fan should book. [9–10]

The Chiefs have announced a new enclosed stadium in Kansas City, Kansas, with a 2031 target, plus a future training campus in Olathe. The Commanders’ RFK campus project targets a return to Washington in 2030. Neither plan changes the clubs’ current home addresses in this directory. [13–14]

Denver is targeting Burnham Yard for a potential 2031 stadium opening. Chicago remains a developing site and financing story: the Bears identified Hammond, Indiana, as their focus in August 2026, while October discussions showed Illinois remained part of the wider conversation. A guaranteed site and opening date would overstate that situation. [15–16]

A new building is not the only option. Carolina’s phased Bank of America Stadium renovation demonstrates a strategy of retaining the location while changing facilities. For taxpayers and fans, the meaningful questions are the identified problem, the funded scope, the delivery risk and the public obligations—not simply which stadium has the oldest opening date. [17]

Practice facilities may matter more than the Sunday view

A player spends much of the working week at the training base, not in a stadium suite or public concourse. Practice fields, indoor space, strength work, rehabilitation, meeting rooms and food preparation all belong in the facilities comparison. A modern base can also reduce the number of separate trips required for treatment and training.

Dallas’s Star in Frisco and the Chargers’ Bolt in El Segundo are examples of training campuses distinct from the game stadium. Minnesota trains in Eagan, Baltimore in Owings Mills and Seattle in Renton. The Commanders’ current arrangement crosses another boundary: home games in Maryland and training in Virginia.

That geography matters to families and finances. Choosing a house close to the stadium may be less useful than living near the daily training base. Open training camp sessions are separately controlled events, and summer camp can take place away from headquarters. The existence of a facility does not create unrestricted public access.

The tax attraction of a football market

Florida, Texas and Nevada do not levy a state personal income tax, and Tennessee does not tax earned wages. That can favour the Dolphins, Jaguars, Buccaneers, Cowboys, Texans, Raiders or Titans in a suitable individual comparison. Federal tax and road-work obligations still apply. [18–21]

California’s duty-day approach shows why a home-state label cannot be applied to the whole contract. Workdays include more than game appearances, and other states use their own allocation rules. New Jersey specifically applies duty-day sourcing to nonresident professional athletes, which is relevant to teams playing and working there. [22–23]

Seattle also needs a date attached to the tax discussion. Washington’s Department of Revenue describes a new income tax beginning in 2028 for income above US$1 million. A multiyear Seahawks comparison should account for that change rather than treating the state’s current wage-tax position as permanent. [24]

Signing bonuses, other compensation, residence, credits and international fixtures need individual analysis. A player’s team branding does not prove where that person lives, and the highest marginal rate is not the average rate on all income. An adviser should compare projected take-home compensation alongside guaranteed money, contract security and living costs. This is general information, not personal tax advice.

Comparing the complete football experience

For a fan, the best comparison begins with a specific game and ends with the journey home. Price the actual seat, parking or transport, food and any accommodation. For a suite, compare the same guest count and inclusions. For a player, add the daily training environment, medical support, role and family needs. A stadium guide becomes useful when it connects those decisions to the correct place and the correct date.
