Privacy policy

What this site does

The site shows scores, recaps, highlights, schedules, a daily bulletin, and an overnight desk. You can follow teams in the browser. You can also create an account and subscribe to email.

What stays in your browser

The site saves a few choices on your device:

• Theme
• Teams or players you follow
• A random session id used to understand visits
• Whether you have closed a notice

That information stays in the browser until you clear this site’s data.

Account and email

If you create an account, we store the email address you submit so you can sign in. The password is handled by the sign-in service and is not kept in the page. If you subscribe, we store that email address and use it to send the messages you asked for. We do not sell email addresses.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. Google may set a cookie and receive your IP address, browser, and the page you opened. Google’s privacy policy describes what Google does with that information.

Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to measure those ads and, where their rules allow it, to make them more relevant. You can review Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

Video and other sites

A highlight or video player may load from the league, YouTube, or another host named on the page. That host receives a normal browser request. A link that leaves this site is covered by the other site’s policy.

The host that delivers the page keeps standard server logs, including IP address, browser, and the page requested.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• This site is not directed at children under 13.
