Kaiser's shot from the left circle went through Anton Forsberg's legs. It was the defenseman's first goal of the season and gave Chicago its first lead of the game.

The Kings protected that lead until late in the second period. Roman Kantserov then converted a power-play opportunity at 16:40, finishing a setup from Connor Bedard. The rookie's fifth goal of the season pulled Chicago level.
Spencer Knight made 25 saves for the Blackhawks. Forsberg also stopped 25 shots for Los Angeles. Chicago killed a double-minor penalty assessed to Sam Rinzel, helping preserve the result. The Kings finished their road trip 3-2-0.
