Thursday, October 15, 2026 · Brewers beat Dodgers 6-2 for 3-0 NLCS lead; Rays and Guardians play ALCS Game 3 at 1 p.m. Eastern · 342 words ·

On Wednesday night, the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-2 in NLCS Game 3 at Dodger Stadium. Milwaukee took a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series and can clinch its first National League pennant in Game 4 on Thursday night.

Jackson Chourio homered on Blake Snell's first pitch for a 1-0 Brewers lead. Snell retired 14 batters in a row before the seventh inning unraveled. Los Angeles briefly led 2-1 on Will Smith's two-run double off Abner Uribe in the sixth after Uribe loaded the bases with walks.

Jake Bauers and Garrett Mitchell answered with back-to-back homers off Snell in the seventh. Bauers drove an 11-pitch at-bat over the right-field fence for a 3-2 lead after Andrew Vaughn walked and Christian Yelich pinch-ran. Mitchell followed with a 428-foot shot to right-center that made it 4-2 and ended Snell's night.

Robert Gasser worked five scoreless innings for Milwaukee in his postseason start. DL Hall struck out two to escape the sixth-inning jam and worked 2 1/3 scoreless innings for the win. Trevor Megill recorded a four-out save. The Dodgers have not homered through three NLCS games and sit one loss from elimination as the two-time defending World Series champions.

The Tampa Bay Rays visit the Cleveland Guardians on Thursday in ALCS Game 3 at Progressive Field. First pitch is 1 p.m. Eastern on TBS after MLB moved the game up from 6 p.m. because of forecast rain in Cleveland. The series is tied 1-1.

Griffin Jax is scheduled to start for Tampa Bay in his first career postseason start. Gavin Williams starts for Cleveland after his 5 2/3 scoreless innings with 12 strikeouts clinched the AL Division Series against Chicago.

The Brewers return to Dodger Stadium for NLCS Game 4 on Thursday. First pitch is 8 p.m. Eastern on FS1 after the start was moved up from 9 p.m. Milwaukee can sweep Los Angeles with a win. Tyler Glasnow is expected to start for the Dodgers as Los Angeles tries to force a fifth game.
