Sunday across the NFL, the Premier League, and the MLB postseason produced several signature finishes before Monday brings twin league championship series games and Monday Night Football.

Manchester City beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield in the Premier League. Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku, and Rayan Cherki scored after Ryan Gravenberch was sent off in the 62nd minute, restoring City's three-point lead at the top of the table.

The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 2-1 in NLCS Game 1 at American Family Field. Brice Turang homered off Tarik Skubal, Luis Lara's fifth-inning single pushed Milwaukee ahead, and four Brewers relievers held the Dodgers scoreless after Jacob Misiorowski left in the fifth.

Drake Maye threw four touchdown passes and ran for another score as the New England Patriots rolled past the Las Vegas Raiders 45-17 at Gillette Stadium. Maye was 26 of 34 for 374 yards without a turnover, helping New England answer a sluggish start with a second straight victory.

The San Francisco 49ers rallied for a 32-29 win over the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. Brock Purdy led two late scoring drives, including a 43-yard field goal by Eddy Pineiro with 1:56 remaining, as the undefeated 49ers gained a measure of payback in a playoff rematch.

Monday opens with NLCS Game 2 at American Family Field, where Yoshinobu Yamamoto starts for the Dodgers against Brewers right-hander Logan Henderson. First pitch is 5 p.m. Eastern on FOX and FS1.

The Cleveland Guardians open the ALCS at the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 1 at Tropicana Field at 8 p.m. Eastern on TBS and truTV. Later, the Buffalo Bills visit the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football at SoFi Stadium at 8:15 p.m. Eastern on ESPN and ABC.
