Brewers clinch, Guardians lead, Broncos win; Friday baseball and hockey
Milwaukee beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-4 in Game 4 on October 15 to complete an NLCS sweep. The Brewers reached the World Series for the first time since 1982, eliminating the two-time defending champions.
Cleveland defeated Tampa Bay 3-2 in ALCS Game 3. Petey Halpin hit a go-ahead, two-run homer. Gavin Williams struck out 9 over 5 innings. The Guardians lead the series 2-1.
Denver beat Seattle 17-14 in overtime. An interception put the Broncos in position for the winning field goal. Denver recorded 5 sacks and 17 quarterback hits. Seattle fell to 3-3.
Friday's schedule features Tampa Bay at Cleveland in ALCS Game 4 at 8 p.m. Eastern on TBS.
The NHL has Pittsburgh at Colorado at 6 p.m. Pacific and Boston at Anaheim at 7 p.m. Pacific.
