The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Charlotte Hornets 128-81 for the largest winning margin in franchise history. Jalen Johnson finished with 19 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds. Aaron Wiggins also scored 19 points, while all 5 Atlanta starters reached double figures. The 47-point margin surpassed the club’s previous record of 46.
The Dallas Mavericks beat the Indiana Pacers 121-105 despite losing Cooper Flagg to a left shoulder injury. Kyrie Irving scored 24 points and made 5 of 10 attempts from 3-point range. P.J. Washington added 20 points and 13 rebounds. Dallas earned its first victory under coach Dusty May.
The Toronto Raptors defeated the Washington Wizards 112-102 behind Scottie Barnes’ 28 points and 14 rebounds. RJ Barrett added 23 points, and Toronto forced 23 Washington turnovers. The Raptors led throughout, although the Wizards cut the deficit to 1 point in the third quarter. Trae Young finished with 22 points and 12 assists for Washington.
