Katerina Siniakova beat Katie Boulter 6-1, 6-4 in Osaka’s other semifinal. The eighth seed’s run ended in straight sets, while Siniakova advanced to her first WTA singles final since 2023.

Elena Rybakina defeated Diana Shnaider 6-3, 7-5 in Ningbo to reach the final for a second consecutive year. The world No. 1 needed 11 set points to claim the opener. She recovered from dropping serve at love while serving for the match and finished in 1 hour, 35 minutes.

Leylah Fernandez beat Marie Bouzkova 6-3, 7-5 in the other Ningbo semifinal. Fernandez won the final 3 games to complete the victory in 1 hour, 58 minutes. The result secured her second final of the season and the 10th of her career.

Nikoloz Basilashvili defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-4, 6-7(5), 6-3 in the Almaty semifinals. The Georgian qualifier regained control in the deciding set following Tsitsipas’s second-set tiebreak victory. Basilashvili’s win extended a run that began in qualifying and carried him into the final.
